The officers illegally searched Plaintiff's home and person, and physically restrained him by the arms and wrists. The officers then violently contorted Plaintiff's arms and wrists behind his back and tightly applied handcuffs and shackles, causing him substantial pain. Plaintiff was taken to the local precinct, where he was subject to further searches and interrogations. At no point were his Miranda rights read to him nor was he given an attorney, despite multiple requests for one. Plaintiff was released the next day without being charged with any crimes.\n\nOn October 6, 2018, the officers again entered Plaintiff's home, physically grabbed and restrained him, and arrested him for attempted rape.
