Instead of investigating the injuries suffered by the Plaintiff, Officer Guglielmo misrepresented the situation to Officer Falzarano. Officer Guglielmo shifted the narrative to focus on trespass by asking family members leading questions and subsequently, Vicidomini altered her account to falsely allege the Plaintiff had assaulted her. The Plaintiff was unjustly arrested for assault based on fabricated evidence by Vicidomini.\n\nWhile the Plaintiff was under unlawful arrest, Sergeant Cabreja ignored evidence that exonerated her and failed to intervene. \n\nThe fabricated details were forwarded by Officer Guglielmo to the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office, resulting in unjust criminal charges of Assault in the Third Degree against the Plaintiff. The false arrest that lacked probable cause led to significant emotional and physical distress, including PTSD, as well as loss of income.
