The NYPD monitored and followed the protest, and at around 8:30 pm, the NYPD began to become more aggressive and followed the protest far closer than earlier. Plaintiffs placed themselves at the rear of the march, and the Officer Fritz Hector taunted Plaintiff Fermin that he could arrest them if he wanted.  He grabbed Fermin from behind as other NYPD officers began throwing and beating protestors with batons. Fermin was thrown to the ground, and numerous Officers piled on top of him. Plaintiff Boday attempted to move towards a protestor who had been thrown aside to administer first aid. Officer Yudelka Rodriguez struck Boday twice with a baton until she fell to the ground. Officer Rodriguez along with Det. Cristofer Schiavone and Officers John Does began beating her. Plaintiff Cronin yelled at them to get off of Boday. Detective Michael Dellgardo and Officer John Does tackled and hit him twice with a baton. All three plaintiffs were zip tied, and their needs for medical assistance were ignored. Fermin's hands were ziptied so tightly he threw up. At the precinct, Fermin was manhandled and screamed at. All three were issued summons which were later dismissed.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.463945/gov.uscourts.nyed.463945.26.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/59894751/fermin-v-shea/"}],"payroll":{"salary":"109352","regular":"73195","overtime":"15098","other":"17023","total":"105316"},"id":"EYX7","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/EYX7"}
