Plaintiff was held illegally at the 73rd Precinct and Rikers Island. Plaintiff was actually the victim of a stabbing, though he was arrested and prosecuted instead of the perpetrator. Plaintiff suffered serious physical and psychological injuries since he was refused treatment in a timely manner. As a result of this, Plaintiff has permanently lost full use of his fingers in his hand. Plaintiff was in police custody from April 19, 2014, until he was released approximately 3-4 weeks later.
