Plaintiff 1 was video-recording the event when officers suddenly punched him. The officers continued to punch Plaintiff 1 as they reached for his phone. Plaintiff 2 saw Plaintiff 1 on the ground and ran towards him. An officer pushed Plaintiff 2, knocking her to the ground, kicked her on her side several times and kneed her in her back. Meanwhile, Plaintiff 1 was grabbed, thrown on the hood of a car, choked, and struck with a taser in his back. Officers tased Plaintiff 1 multiple times and punched him in the back of his head. Both Plaintiffs were arrested and transported to the precinct. All charges against Plaintiff 2 were subsequently dismissed. Defendants, without reasonable suspicion or probable cause, forced plaintiff to the ground, scraped him against the sidewalk, twisted his arms, and applied tight handcuffs, and kicked him in the process of arresting plaintiff. Plaintiff was taken to the 73rd Precinct, where defendants applied ankle cuffs, forced him against a desk and various walls and doors, and punched him in the face and body. Plaintiff complained about the illegal conduct, which caused defendants to increase their actions. Defendants also ignored repeated requests for medical treatment from plaintiff.\n\nDefendants Camacho and Rinaldi then submitted false reports to the DAs office, causing plaintiff to be charged with crimes.
