Defendant Officers pushed Plaintiff against the wall and put a forearm into Plaintiff’s head, causing physical injury. Defendant Officers unlawfully handcuffed Plaintiff without probable cause. Plaintiff was then searched by Defendant Officers, and no contraband was found. Plaintiff was transported to and unlawfully imprisoned at the 79th Precinct. The excessively tight handcuffs caused pain and physical injury to both of Plaintiff’s wrists. Defendant Officers refused to tell Plaintiff the reasons for his arrest. Plaintiff was later taken to Kings Central Booking. Defendant Officers provided the DA’s office with a false information that Plaintiff was engaged in Obstructing Governmental Administration. After 24 hours in unlawful custody, Plaintiff was arraigned in Criminal Court, charged with crimes he did not commit and released on his own recognizance.
