Brown told the acquaintances to leave and asked plaintiff if he lived in the building. Plaintiff said he did, at which point Brown handcuffed him, searched his pockets and took out his keys. Brown entered into the apartment building using plaintiff's keys while Fraser stood outside with plaintiff. Brown returned from inside the building and directed Fraser to place plaintiff in their police vehicle. Plaintiff was brought to the 28th Precinct, and then Central Booking. \nOn March 24, 2012, plaintiff was arraigned on a felony complaint, charging him with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Brown prepared and signed police reports relating to the arrest that contained falsified information relating to his observations. Brown provided false reports and false oral statements to the NY DA's office. On March of 2012, a grand jury indicted plaintiff. On March 1, 2013, after more than a dozen court appearances, the case against plaintiff went to trial.
