Without justification, the defendant police officers exited the van and began to harass the plaintiff, despite the fact that they had no reasonable suspicion or other lawful basis to do so.  The plaintiff asked why he was being mistreated this way, which angered the defendant police officers, and prompted them to grab and twist the plaintiff's arm, throw the plaintiff to the ground, and ultimately place the plaintiff into handcuffs and under arrest.\n\nThe plaintiff was then transported to the police precinct, where the defendant officers proceeded to false inform employees of the Kings County District Attorney's Office that they had observed the plaintiff commit various crimes/offenses.
