The father left with Plaintiff’s car keys and purse. Plaintiff called 911 and Officers Villar and Issaka responded to the scene. The officers took photographs of the injuries inflicted upon Plaintiff before informing her she had to come with them to the precinct to file the incident report.\n\nWhile at the precinct, Plaintiff was approached by Defendant Officer Bergamini holding a piece of paper in his hand and informing Plaintiff that he had to arrest her because of an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Plaintiff was shocked as she had done nothing that would require her arrest. Plaintiff demanded to see the warrant but Officer Bergamini refused. Defendant asked Plaintiff if she knew Camiel Shaw, to which Plaintiff replied that Ms. Shaw was involved with Mr. Gordon. Defendant also informed Plaintiff that he had a video showing Plaintiff puncturing the tires of Ms. Shaw’s vehicle. Plaintiff protested vehemently and that Defendant had the wrong person. Defendant refused to show Plaintiff the video despite repeated requests. Instead, he handcuffed Plaintiff, fingerprinted and photographed her, and placed her in a cell. Plaintiff was released from custody after approximately eight hours.
