Defendant Flores and his codefendants apprehended everyone inside the location. Defendant Flores explained he had a search warrant and detained everyone inside to ascertain their relationship to the location. Plaintiff showed his ID and explained he was a dog walker. No contraband was observed or recovered in plain view by anyone, including Plaintiff and Defendant Flores. However, Defendant Flores detained the Plaintiff. The Plaintiff was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and related charges. The next morning, the Plaintiff was additionally charged with Class A Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 1st Degree and related charges. The Plaintiff remained incarcerated for a total of 14 days until August 6, 2010, when all charges against Plaintiff were dismissed by a Grand Jury.\nOn August 6, 2010, Defendant Catlin drafted a false arrest warrant against Plaintiffs and lodged this false warrant against Plaintiff, making it impossible for him to be released from custody.
