Daniel Roman falsely claimed that the defendants attempted to arrest Plaintiff and Plaintiff resisted that arrest, breaking a door hinge. The defendant officers further claimed that the arrest was made pursuant to an I-Card when there was no such I-Card. They then forwarded, or caused to be forwarded the false allegations to the DA’s office, which caused Plaintiff to be criminally charged.
