Plaintiff informed defendant police officer that the bike was electric and did not require a registration.  The defendant police officer left plaintiff alone, who continued riding in the bike lane.  After driving a short distance, the defendant police officers stopped plaintiff again and demanded to see her photo identification.  Plaintiff complied, providing her ID; one of the defendant police officers advised that she had an outstanding warrant for a suspended Driver's License since 1995.  Plaintiff informed defendant police officers that she had never possessed a DL in her life; plaintiff's husband also told defendant police officers that plaintiff had never had a DL.  Defendant police officers proceeded to arrest plaintiff and transported to the 75th Precinct.  Handcuffs were placed tightly on plaintiff, leaving marks on her wrists.  One of the defendant police officers rode plaintiff's bike to the precinct, but failed to give her any vouchers with which she could claim her bike later, despite the plaintiff asking for a voucher more than 3 times.  Defendant police officers refused to allow plaintiff's husband to take the bike home.  Plaintiff spent more than 10 hours in a cell before being given a Desk Appearance Ticket, charging her with a traffic offense.  While in detention, plaintiff suffered an asthma attack as a result of a pre-existing condition.  Plaintiff appeared in court on July 11, 2012 and was told to await further info. regarding a court date.
