While Plaintiff Lynch was on the floor, Officer Morales kicked him in the side, causing him extreme pain. Officer Morales and the other NYPD officers damaged Plaintiff Alexander's personal property and broke the front and back doors of Plaintiff Alexander's apartment in accessing it. Plaintiffs repeatedly asked Officer Morales to produce a search warrant for the apartment; Officer Morales did not produce any warrant. Plaintiff Lynch was handcuffed and transported to the 75th Precinct by Officer Morales. Plaintiffs Lynch and Alexander were held in custody at the 75th for several hours before being issued summonses and released. When Plaintiffs appeared on their court date, they were informed that Officer Morales had \"failed to submit a legally admissible accusatory instrument\" to the court.\n\nOn March 7, 2016 and again on April 5, 2016, Plaintiff Alexander was inside his apartment when multiple NYPD officers, including Officer Uske, forcefully entered the apartment and searched it. On both occasions, Plaintiff Alexander asked Officer Uske to produce a search warrant; on April 5, 2016, Officer Uske did not produce a warrant. On both occasions, Plaintiff Alexander was handcuffed by Officer Uske, and Officer Uske applied the handcuffs so tightly that Plaintiff Alexander had to seek medical attention.
