One of the officers told the plaintiff that \"this is not a West Indian neighborhood anymore,\" and arrested the plaintiff. He was beaten, handcuffed in excessively tight handcuffs, and thrown into the police vehicle. At the 71st precinct, he was strip searched. He was also beaten and assaulted once handcuffed.
