POs falsely claimed they saw video surveillance of Plaintiff having a conversation with individuals suspected of involvement in a burglary and falsely accused Plaintiff of acting in concert with them. POs Jiminez and Blain falsely arrested Plaintiff despite the fact that they knew he was not involved in a burglary because they intended to maliciously prosecute him as leverage to gain information regarding the true suspects. Plaintiff was handcuffed and transported to a precinct, where he was illegally searched, questioned, photographed, and fingerprinted. POs intentionally provided false information to the District Attorney in order to initiate a malicious prosecution, and PO Jiminez signed the complaint.
