Officer Hossain indicated that White would be receiving a ticket but left the scene without issuing any violations. White then continued to his residence. About thirty minutes later, seven additional NYPD officers arrived at White’s home and informed him that he was under arrest for allegedly hitting, kicking, and spitting at a police officer. The officers proceeded to detain, frisk, and search White, handcuffing him and taking him into custody. He was held for almost 24 hours before being presented to a judge and released. White, who was on parole at the time, faced additional repercussions, including a parole violation due to the arrest. Despite these events, the only charge brought against him was \"obstructing traffic at an intersection.\" The incident resulted in both physical and psychological injuries, as well as a loss of personal freedom.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=7zbUxcReDLExPcHrb8ulRg==","type":"complaint"}]},{"name":"Salgado, Roxanne vs City of New York, et al.","start_date":"2018-06-22","payout_amount":0,"disposition":"","docket":"027188/2018E","court":"Supreme Court - Bronx","officer_name":"Clifford, Derek J.","summary":"On April 15, 2016, SWAT team members PO Derek Clifford and four unidentified police officers started banging on the front door of Plaintiff's residence and demanding that she let them in.
