These officers, acting without a warrant or legal basis, grabbed and tightly handcuffed Plaintiff, allegedly under the pretense of investigating patronizing a prostitute. The handcuffs were placed on Plaintiff's wrists so tight that Plaintiff's wrists turned red. Officer Sheehan, acting undercover, falsely implicated Plaintiff in the crime, leading to his arrest. Plaintiff testified that he knew Officer Sheehan and her female partner were acting as undercover police officers and in fact told Police Officer Sheehan that on multiple occasions.\n\nPlaintiff was held in custody for about 36 hours, during which he was subjected to a strip search at both the 52nd Precinct and Central Booking. Plaintiff was released after arraignment, and following numerous court appearances, all charges were dismissed on December 7, 2017, in Bronx County Criminal Court.
