When Plaintiff Dansou arrived to investigate, he was allegedly threatened and assaulted by Goscott while calling the police in the front yard. When NYPD Officer JOSEPH BRACCO (#958325), and two unidentified officers (one male, one female) arrived, they sided with Goscott and arrested Plaintiff Dansou for trespassing. However, it is likely that both Plaintiff and the tenant were legally entitled to be present based on a 2015 agreement between the Plaintiff and the property's legal owners which permitted Dansou to take possession of the then abandoned property, renovate it, and rent it out. It was further allegedly agreed that the property would then be transferred to Dansou's wife as evidenced by a deed that was prepared but never recorded for this purpose. In fact, the legal owners had apparently reneged on this agreement and transferred title to a corporation that Goscott either owned or worked for called 1492 Pitkin Ave. sometime between January and May of 2017. In the course of the arrest, Dansou was injured due to the use of excessive force and taken to the 113th Precinct without being read his Miranda rights. Following an unstated term of incarceration at Queens Central Booking, Dansou was released and all charges against him were eventually dismissed.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=HuXXoTzoi3UtiNxxjxSbQg==","type":"complaint"}]}],"id":"HZLM","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/HZLM"}
