He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon because Defendants reported finding a firearm from Mr. William's son. Charges which was later dismissed. Sergeant Denesopolis and Detective Jonny stopped Plaintiff Shanasia while their car was still parked at the Mcdonald's parking lot and approached them with their guns drawn. Defendant Officers provided false information to the District Attorney in order to have him charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. The Plaintiff spent approximately 31 hours in custody prior to arraignment. When the Plaintiff produced his valid prescription, all criminal charges were dismissed.
