All plaintiffs were arrested and brought to the precinct where they remained for two days. The two minor plaintiffs were not placed in a cell but were left handcuffed to chairs for the two days they were at the precinct. The adult plaintiffs were taken to Brooklyn Central Booking where they were kept in custody for 3 days. The minor plaintiffs were sent to juvenile detention from which they were released after 5 days.
