POs then removed the handcuffs and returned Plaintiff's property to him except his earpods. Plaintiff was then taken to the 79th Precinct and placed in a cell. NYPD officers—including PO John Sylvestre, PO Michael DeGregorio, PO Bobby Mohip, PO Kevin Shepherd, Sgt. Jessica Gavars, Detective Christopher Clarke, and Detective Duane Percy— responded to the scene. The defendant officers placed handcuffs on Plaintiff, while he was lying on the street. The officers placed Plaintiff in a neck brace and turned him over, so he was face down on the pavement, on a stretcher.
