PO's then maliciously and falsely instigated a criminal prosecution against Plaintiff. On September 21st Plaintiff was arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court and released on his own recognizance. Plaintiff was taken to the 83rd precinct where he was unlawfully photographed, fingerprinted, and detained in a holding cell. while at the precinct the officers conducted an invasive and unlawful strip search of the plaintiff without reasonable suspicion or probable cause. the officer then decided, despite still not finding any contraband (weapons, drugs, etc.,) that they needed to transport Plaintiff to Woodhull Hospital. At the hospital, they subjected Plaintiff to an invasive medical exam and several CAT scans and X-rays. \n\nOn September 21, 2019, Plaintiff was discharged and returned to the 83rd precinct.  After many hours, he was sent to Brooklyn Central Booking and placed in a holding cell. The Defendant officers then maliciously initiated the prosecution against Plaintiff by providing the DA's Office with false, misleading, and incomplete information regarding the facts that formed the officers’ basis for arresting the plaintiff. specifically, they falsely stated that Plaintiff took part in an alleged drug sale.
