The officers then proceeded to shatter the driver's side window, which caused the Plaintiff to suffer minor lacerations, and a piece of glass to be lodged in his eye. Plaintiff then began to open the passenger door, but before he could exit, the officers grabbed him and pulled him out of the vehicle. They then pressed a taser gun against Plaintiff's chest without shooting it. Despite not having probable cause or any legal justification, the officers handcuffed the Plaintiff, placed him under arrest, and transported him to the 69th Precinct, where he was searched and detained for many hours. The officers then issued him a criminal summons for allegedly resisting arrest and released him from custody.
