Defendant Officers provided the District Attorney's Office with false, misleading and/or incomplete information about the facts in their possession that they purportedly used to establish probable cause to arrest and/or prosecute Plaintiff, including but not limited to falsely alleging that the knife claimant had in his possession at the time he was arrested was not a legal knife for Plaintiff to carry. A criminal prosecution was initiated against Plaintiff where Plaintiff was accused of committing crimes he did not commit and for which the Defendant Officers lacked probable cause to accuse him of committing. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct and wrongfully imprisoned until approximately 10:00 p.m. that night. Plaintiff was maliciously prosecuted for multiple crimes, including drugs and weapons charges, even though nothing illegal was found in her residence. Plaintiff was compelled to return to court twice and all charges were dismissed on January 31, 2013.
