While restrained, his right hand and right thumb were forcefully bent back and he was also threatened by one of the officers with the words \"i will break your f** hand\". One of the police officers confiscated and threw his cell phone, causing it to break. Thereafter, Plaintiff was brought to a precinct where he was placed in a holding cell and held for a period of time. He didn't receive medical care for the injuries he sustained but was eventually treated by the Emergency Medical Services and was taken to Lincoln Hospital for further treatment while still in police custody, wearing handcuffs and leg shackles. He was released from the hospital and that same day was taken to Bronx Central Booking where he was held until he was arraigned and then released on his own recognizance on October 15, 2023.
