After Plaintiff's arraignment, she remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over some time until her charges against Plaintiff were dismissed in her favor. Plaintiff believes she was stopped solely due to her race.\n\nThe defendants' behavior towards the Plaintiff caused her physical pain, emotional pain, and injuries, deprived her of her liberty for an extended period, and faced scorn, ridicule, embarrassment, loss of enjoyment of life, degradation of her esteem in her community personally and professionally, great and permanent bodily injury in and about her neck, back, head, body, was rendered sick, sore, lame, and disabled.
