Plaintiff was unlawfully imprisoned at the Midtown South Precinct Police Station for approximately 9 hours before she was released with a Desk Appearance Ticket. Plaintiff was denied the right to due process and a fair trial for false charges, which were dismissed and sealed on or around June 14, 2021. The defendants provided the DA office with false and misleading evidence. Some of the defendant officers who did not participate failed to intervene to prevent the aforementioned unlawful acts.
