After the Plaintiff's arraignment, he remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and made numerous court appearances until all charges against him were terminated in his favor. The plaintiff suffered physical and emotional pain, physical and emotional injuries, deprivation of his liberty for a long time, scorn, ridicule, embarrassment, inability to return to his usual occupation and duties, degradation of his esteem in his community professionally and personally, and fear.
