Plaintiff was informed that he was stopped because Officer Maldonado allegedly saw Plaintiff come from a train station with a knife in his possession. Plaintiff was not in possession of a knife and he did not take the train to work. Officer Maldonado was not able to find a knife in the restroom. The officers issued Plaintiff a Desk Appearance Ticket for obstructing pedestrian traffic in a stairwell, when Plaintiff did not. He was in custody for approximately 45 minutes before he was released.
