Plaintiff had been riding in a car driven by Faied Saleh to pick up his girlfriend's infant son, when Saleh stopped to engage in a private conversation. The officers, thereafter, \"bum-rushed\" Seals, pulled him out of the vehicle, and tightly handcuffed him with his hands behind his back despite him pleading that the handcuffs were too tight. Officers also subjected him to illegal searches both at the scene of the arrest and the station house where they did not recover any contraband. The officers falsely stated that Seals sold controlled substances, and prosecutors initiated criminal action. After arraignment, plaintiff was unable to make bail, so he was incarcerated at Manhattan Detention Complex till his family posted it. On June 20, 2016, charges against Seals were terminated favorably.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.478348/gov.uscourts.nysd.478348.1.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/6224234/seals-v-the-city-of-new-york/"}],"id":"K2A9","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/K2A9"}
