Plaintiffs were handcuffed and detained for 3 hours while the NYPD searched them and their home, property, and personal effects. \n\nPrior to November 20, 2019, the no-knock search warrant was obtained under false pretenses and with information from a confidential informant that was unreliable and uncorroborated, and was issued on November 13, 2019. Further, NYPD officers had visited the address several months prior looking for the true target of the warrant, and Plaintiffs told them that they didn't know of him and that there was nothing to do with him at that address.
