Plaintiff attempted to deter the attack by brandishing a sharp knife, at which point Mr. Murray tripped while lunging towards her. Mr. Murray fell into the knife, and the blade entered his chest. Plaintiff attempted to stop the bleeding while 911 was activated. Mr. Murray later died in the hospital. \n\nOn arrival of NYPD, Officer Cortez is heard on body cam making false statements about Plaintiff to other officers. Officer Cortez fabricated a confession in their written report. Officer Miah was aware of fabricated statements. Plaintiff was arrested, jailed, and prosecuted based on fabricated testimony. Plaintiff was charged the second degree murder. All charges were dismissed. The trespass and disorderly conduct charges were dismissed on June 4, 2015. Plaintiff received an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal of the criminal possession of a controlled substance charge on April 13, 2015.
