Plaintiff was forcibly grabbed by the wrists, tackled, dragged, and slammed to the ground, causing her to bleed from her face. During the arrest, the Defendant officers pepper-sprayed Plaintiff and handcuffed her. While handcuffed, one officer put his hand up Plaintiff's skirt and forcibly grabbed her vagina, causing further physical injuries, including bleeding from her face, legs, arms, and wrists. Plaintiff's skirt was also torn during the incident.\n\nDespite committing no crime, Plaintiff was taken to the 42nd Precinct, where her repeated requests for medical attention were denied. While at the precinct, Plaintiff was interviewed by Internal Affairs regarding the inappropriate touching. She was then transferred to Central Booking and charged with obstructing governmental administration, among other related charges. Plaintiff was held in custody for approximately 30 hours before being arraigned in Bronx County Criminal Court and released. After her release, Plaintiff sought medical treatment at Montefiore Hospital to address her injuries and check on her pregnancy, where she learned she had suffered a miscarriage due to the anxiety caused by the incident.
