His son tried to follow him out of the precinct, and was forcibly restrained by the defendant NYPD officers. Mr. Belizario asked them to be careful with his son and took out his phone to record the way the defendants were restraining his son. Defendant Sergeant \"Serrano\" tried to grab Mr. Belizario's phone, made contact with Mr. Belizario's hand, and falsely accused Mr. Belizario of hitting her. Mr. Belizario apologized. The defendants slammed Mr. Belizario's phone to the ground, damaging it, and grabbed Mr. Belizario and pushed him to the ground. He was arrested, handcuffed, and held at the police precinct for several hours. 26 hours after his arrest, he was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. He was charged with resisting arrest and criminal contempt of the court order, though he was in fact complying with that court order and had followed it by bringing his son to the precinct. Eventually, Mr. Belizario was offered and accepted an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal of all the charges against him.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.363762/gov.uscourts.nyed.363762.1.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/13241963/belizario-v-city-of-new-york/"},{"name":"Drummond, Gregory vs City of New York, et al.","start_date":"2014-07-08","disposition_date":"2015-05-18","payout_amount":12500,"disposition":"Settlement","docket":"14CV04050","court":"U.S. District Court - Eastern District NY","officer_name":"Serrano, Anna I.","summary":"Defendant Officers found drugs and guns in an apartment on the second floor of Plaintiff's apartment building. Plaintiff suggests that the defendants ignored the fact that Jeffrey Zagelbaum refused to comply with the orders which lead to Jeffrey Zagelbaum having possession of the court order and subsequently robbing the plaintiff. During the robbery, plaintiff was pushed out of her apartment. The defendants did not charge Jeffrey Zagelbaum with the crime of stealing the plaintiff's $100 billion dollars and valuables. The plaintiff believes this is because the defendants conspired with Jeffrey Zagelbaum and Jeffrey Edelman (Zagelbaum's attorney). Plaintiff was arrested for assault that alleged occurred after a verbal argument in lei of complying with the court order. In addition, the plaintiff missed her housing court date (May 30) because the defendants delayed taking her to court since she was in custody. Plaintiff also revealed one of her previous clients, Ingrid, was living in the plaintiff's old apartment until she was killed by Jeffrey Zagelbaum. Ingrid was blind and Jeffrey Zagelbaum cut off the electricity in her apartment which lead to starvation over six weeks and was rushed to the hospital. At that time she was evicted and returned to the hospital after realizing she was homeless and died there.","documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/5379152-Walker-v-New-York-City-Police-Department-et-al"}],"docket":"17CV04529","officer_name":"Anna I.
