The defendants' fabrication of the situation led the District Attorney's Office to charge the  Plaintiff with the Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and the Plaintiff's detainment for 41 months until his release from prison on or about November 16th, 2017. Plaintiff's charges were terminated in his favor on October 9th, 2019. Ultimately, Plaintiff believes he was targeted because he is an African-American male.
