POs then proceeded to illegally search Plaintiff but recovered nothing. Regardless, POs handcuffed Plaintiff and took him to the 5th Precinct. Though at no point did Plaintiff resist in any way, on arrival to the precinct POs intentionally pushed Plaintiff into a door, causing Plaintiff serious injuries including a laceration to his thigh/groin area that required treatment at the precinct by EMS and shortly after at a hospital, where he received 7 stitches. Plaintiff was returned to the precinct then taken to Central Booking, where Plaintiff was maliciously charged with a crime. After approximately 36 hours in unlawful police custody Plaintiff was released.
