One of the defendants grabbed Plaintiff's arm while the other punched him in the face repeatedly. Officers John/Jane Does # 1-10 arrived. The defendant officers and detectives forced Plaintiff to the ground and sprayed him with a chemical agent. One of teh Defendant Officers or Detectives applied handcuffs in a excessively tight manner. Plaintiff requested medical attention which was not provided. The defendant officers continued to abuse Plaintiff. Plaintiff was then forced into a van. While handcuffed, Defendant Detective Rios punched Plaintiff in the ear repeatedly. Plaintiff continued to plee for medical treatment. and was eventually taken to the hospital. The officers arrested Beggs with no justifiable cause and even tried to fabricate evidence while engaging in a harmful bodily contact. While being handcuffed, Beggs peacefully explained his innocence. \nBeggs was then subject to strip search at the precinct, subjecting Beggs to humiliation and seizure of his properties. Beggs was detained for about 55 hours until he was released, but with some of the properties unreturned -including multiple iPhones. POs frisked and searched Plaintiff without recovering any drugs or contraband on Plaintiff's person or in Plaintiff's possession or control. POs falsely forwarded information to cause a malicious prosecution for alleged possession of a controlled substance. Plaintiff was released on December 29, 2016 and was indicted on January 3, 2017 based in part on false statements provided by POs. Plaintiff was forced to return to court on approximately 37 occasions over the course of 3 years until all charges against Plaintiff were ultimately dismissed and sealed. \n\nOn January 5 and 10, 2017 Plaintiff was compelled to seek medical treatment for injuries caused by the POs, including x-rays, pain medication, and orthopedic specialist consultation.
