They forcibly handcuffed Ms. Sanchez and transported her, while handcuffed, to the hospital where stitches were required. Additionally, the officers twisted the plaintiff's arm and wrist unnaturally, mocked and insulted her in front of her family and neighbors, falsely charged her with crimes they knew she did not commit, held her in custody for several hours without giving her proper medical attention, and did not mirandize her.\n\nThere is a video of the incident showing clearly that the Plaintiff was beaten, mocked and falsely arrested. As a result of the arrest, Plaintiff suffered severe injuries to her body including a broken nose and had to undergo surgery on her left knee.
