The POs began searching the apartment. One of the POs emerged with A.S., claiming to have found marijuana and a box of credit cards. \n\nPlaintiff was taken, in handcuffs, to a precinct. Later, a search warrant was obtained for the apartment. The warrant application contained misrepresentations, including that the prior entry into the apartment was consented to by one or more residents. The POs executed the search warrant and seized property inside. \n\nPlaintiff asked to contact family while at the precinct but was refused. Plaintiff was interrogated. More than 48 hours after the arrest, Plaintiff was presented to the criminal court and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
