Plaintiff had previously been involved in a case, in which he was accused of drugging a customer who bought special customized supplements from him. The complaint was ultimately closed by defendant detective Warmhold on September 7, 2013. Nevertheless, plaintiff was arrested by defendant P.O. Cabrera and defendant detective Gridley, who used force that resulted in serious physical injuries. Plaintiff was transported to the 106th precinct, in the county of Queens, where he was held in a cell for over 12 hours without food or water. Defendant detective Warmhold then demanded a bribe, which plaintiff refused to pay. Plaintiff was struck in the face with the defendant detective's pistol as a result. Defendants then attempted to have plaintiff prosecuted by forwarding false evidence to prosecutors in the Queens DA's office.
