A misdemeanor complaint was issued at the directive of Officers Pichardo and Paulino and a criminal action against the Plaintiff was commenced. Officers Pichardo and Paulino maliciously and deliberately provided false and/or incomplete information to the DA's office to induce prosecution. Plaintiff was released from custody on or about July 31, 2016. Plaintiff suffered emotional and physical injuries due to the conduct of the Officers.
