As a result of each of these raids, plaintiff Abram’s son, Mike Josie, was arrested at the premises, transported to NYPD police precinct(s), and falsely charged with numerous crimes (all of which were eventually dismissed and sealed). In total, 22 identified and 20 unidentified defendant police officers participated in these raids.\n\nInstances of surveillance, harassment, bullying, and intimidation took place both inside and outside of the residence; these instances included acts such as repeatedly banging on the plaintiffs’ windows and entrance door, maintaining a heavy police presence in and around the plaintiffs’ home, and forced entry and search of the premises without warrant. After tackling Plaintiff to the ground, the Defendant Officers proceeded to punch, kick, and strike Plaintiff all about his body, face, head, legs and arms, despite Plaintiff being unarmed and offering no resistance. Plaintiff was handcuffed, and after being cuffed the Defendant Officers again punched and kicked Plaintiff while they were defenselessly pinned down facing the ground with their wrists handcuffed behind their back. As a result, Plaintiff was caused to suffer substantial physical pain and injuries, including irreparable and permanent ligament damage in their left arm, wrist and hand, as well as lacerations and permanent scarring. Plaintiff was eventually removed to a hospital to be treated for their injuries. Defendant Officers forwarded false information to Kings County Prosecutors that Plaintiff sustained physical injuries as a result of resisting arrest. Sgt. Boyce put Plaintiff in a chokehold and Officers beat him multiple times. Plaintiff was taken to the 102nd Precinct and then the hospital.  He was charged with 120.5(3); 195.05; 205.30; 1192(4); 221.05; and 240.20. Six days later, Plaintiff was driving and pulled over to let a police car pass.  Instead, the police car pulled along side of him, the same officers from the previous arrest approached the car, and issued Plaintiff a summons for \"Double Parking\", which was later dismissed.  Two days after that, Plaintiff was again pulled over by the same officers who issued him a summons for a moving violation and called his physician regarding his proscribed medication. The summons was dismissed but Officers continued to harass Plaintiff. Four days later, Officers obtained a warrant for Plaintiff's arrest and search of residence. Plainclothes officers arrested Plaintiff, strip searched him in public view, and charged Plaintiff with 220.50 (2); 220.50 (3); 265.01 (1); 265.01 (2), 10-131-B (1); 140.40; and 221.05, which are still pending.
