Plaintiff was not found with any contraband, but officers still falsely arrested and detained him. \n\nFollowing the arrest, Plaintiff was transported to the 81st Precinct and later to Brooklyn Central Booking.\n\nThe officers allegedly provided false information to the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, leading to Plaintiff’s malicious prosecution. Defendants signed false and misleading criminal court affidavits and forwarded them to prosecutors in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.  \n Plaintiff was unable to post bail, resulting in his detention at Rikers Island until he was released on bail four days later on September 9, 2014.
