Defendant officer Turnage and her partner appeared at Plaintiff's residence. The officers were with a woman who entered Plaintiff's residence, even though she had no legal right to enter Plaintiff's residence. When Defendant officer Turnage encountered Plaintiff in Plaintiff's home, Plaintiff was getting his children ready for school. Defendant Turnage asked Plaintiff to step outside. Plaintiff responded that they did not need to leave their home. Defendant Turnage then asked Plaintiff for ID, which Plaintiff stated they did not need to provide because he was within his home. Defendant Turnage threatened Plaintiff, which caused the confrontation to escalate, at which point Defendant Turnage grabbed Plaintiff, smacked Plaintiff in the face, threw Plaintiff against the wall, arrested him, and brought him to the precinct. \n\nDefendant Turnage was assisted by Defendant officer Lorenzo in processing Plaintiff and signing a criminal complaint regarding Plaintiff's actions.
