The three adult plaintiffs include the owner of the premises, a man who resided with the owner, and a tenant. The infant plaintiff was a nine-year old. There were also five foster children in the care of the owner in the residence. The officers were looking for a person who the owner informed them to be her former foster child that had not been in her care since the previous year. The officers roughly pulled the man who resided with the owner by his right arm to get him out of bed. They informed the owner that she would face federal criminal charges and that her house and the foster children would be taken away from her if any contraband was found. Without probable cause, they proceeded to handcuff the three adult plaintiffs and the three female foster children, and placed them in a windowless police van. The owner, who was four months pregnant, was denied access to bathroom when requested. The man who resided with the owner was handcuffed particularly tightly. After the officers discovered contraband in the second tenant's room, the adult plaintiffs were continued to be held in the van for hours. In the meantime, one of the officers pointed his weapon at the infant plaintiff and the two male foster children and escorted them to the living room. They were held in the house for about three hours by several of the officers after the adult plaintiffs were placed in the van. They were denied food and were called \"assholes\" by several officers. Eventually, the adult plaintiffs were escorted back into the premises and the officers departed. The adult plaintiffs observed that fixtures in the premises and several items of their personal property, including some of the children's toys and video games, had been destroyed.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.350669/gov.uscourts.nyed.350669.1.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/5672466/roberts-v-bohringer/"},{"name":"Kirk v.
