Although Plaintiff had committed no crime, PO's violently grabbed Plaintiff and shoved her to the ground, slamming her head against the pavement. The excessive force caused Plaintiff to lose consciousness and sustain serious and permanent physical injury. When Plaintiff regained consciousness she was denied medical care. Plaintiff was instead handcuffed and taken to the Precinct for processing. Plaintiff was then taken to Central Booking where she was arraigned and then released on her own recognizance on July 5th, 2023.
