Specifically, PO Hansson falsely reported he observed Plaintiff in possession of a firearm and that he observed Plaintiff throw that firearm into the street, and further that a confidential informant told PO Hansson he saw Plaintiff in possession of a firearm and discharge said firearm. POs also withheld exculpatory evidence from prosecutors. As a result of the actions by POs, Plaintiff was incarcerated for several days and prosecuted for nearly 4 years. After numerous court appearances a jury found Plaintiff not guilty on all criminal charges. Detective Petrillo and Sergeant Bobe tackled Plaintiff and slammed Plantiff's head into a metal fence/gate, causing injuries to Plaintiff's head and face. Officer Luis, Detective Petrillo, and Sergeant Bobe then falsely arrested Plaintiff, and they handcuffed Plaintiff so tightly that Plaintiff's wrists turned red. Officer Benitez signed the criminal court complaint against Plaintiff and initiated the malicious prosecution of Plaintiff.
