All the defendant officers were Caucasian, including defendant Jayne Petrillo, who strip-searched Plaintiff for drugs in her apartment. Despite not finding any drugs, the officers took her out of her apartment in custody. She was placed in a NYPD police van and taken to the 48th precinct. Plaintiff was not permitted to use restroom facilities despite her request and was caused the indignity of urinating in her clothing while in the van with male prisoners. At the precinct, Plaintiff was again strip-searched, her arrest processed, and she was fingerprinted and then taken to Central Booking. The next day, she was released without any charges, arraignment before a court or judge, or an explanation of the treatment. Her apartment was ransacked, and her dog was locked in her children's room because the John and Jane Does NYPD officers searched her apartment, including a search with a K-9 unit.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.408829/gov.uscourts.nysd.408829.9.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/13142758/summerlin-v-the-city-of-new-york/"}],"discipline":[{"disposition_date":"2024-05-02","case_no":"2022-26706","penalty":"A - Command Discipline","recommendation":"Command Discipline - A","allegations":[{"desc":"Violated patrol rules."},{"desc":"Wrongfully searched a vehicle."}]}],"documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/24441170-bronx-notified-officers-list-edited_redacted-redacted_redacted","type":"credibility-finding"}],"image":"https://www.50-a.org/images/officer/MN7K-jayme-petrillo.jpg","payroll":{"salary":"134819","regular":"130069","overtime":"63951","other":"24306","total":"218326"},"is_credibility":true,"id":"MN7K","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/MN7K"}
