NYPD affiliates illegally double parked their cars along the street, and as Plaintiff was driving, someone opened their car door causing a minor car accident. Plaintiff exited his vehicle and began talking to two officers at the scene of the accident - Defendant Rodriguez and John/Jane Doe #1. Defendant Ritchie approached Plaintiff who only identified himself as a \"concerned citizen\" when in fact he was a NYPD officer. Defendant Ritchie grabbed Plaintiff's arm and attacked him, causing injury to Plaintiff's right knee. Defendants placed Plaintiffs in purposefully too-tight handcuffs and arrested him, without probable cause. Defendants then, individually and collectively lied and fabricated allegations resulting in a criminal proceeding against Plaintiff.
