M. was unlawfully arrested by Defendants NYPD Police Officers John Doe 1 and John Doe 2. Plaintiff had initially flagged down the officers to report two men who had negligently broken the Plaintiff's phone. After talking to the men, the officers claimed that the two men were accusing Plaintiff of robbery. Plaintiff explained that this story was inconsistent with him -- the putative robber -- flagging down the cops. Nevertheless, Defendants arrested Plaintiff forcefully handcuffing him against his will and without his consent, causing J. M. to suffer bruising, lacerations, pain and discomfort. Plaintiff was transferred to Central Booking, charged with robbery based on the false testimony above, and thereafter transferred to Juvenile Detention. The criminal action against J.
